Daniel Boyer

President of B.D.R. Safety Consulting Inc.

Dan was a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for over 25 years when he retired in 2006. Specializing in traffic services and commercial vehicle safety and enforcement, Dan designed the Commercial Vehicle Police Enforcement course for police officers in the RCMP and municipal police agencies in British Columbia.

Dan has been inspecting commercial vehicles since he received his certificate as an air brake inspector in 1982.

A licensed commercial vehicle driver since 1988, Dan's knowledge of legislations and industry practices led him to become a guiding force behind the role of the R.C.M.P. in commercial vehicle inspections and enforcement.

Dan has been instrumental in the development of several driving related courses for the R.C.M.P. as well as for the trucking industry.

Dan is a qualified instructor for Load Securement, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Hours of Service, Air Brakes and PDIC.

Dan has several years experience in instructing and public speaking. His speaking engagements have taken him across Canada for both large and small companies.

Fluent in both English and French, Dan is capable of address a large section of the trucking industry.

TAC (Transportation Association of Canada)
CAFS (Canadian Association of Fleet Supervisors)
